Dear parents,

The Department of Education and Sports informed us at short notice that due to the current increase in infection rates in Munich, the new daycare and kindergarten year will start in stage 2 (yellow phase) on September 1, 2020.

We will therefore adjust our infection prevention measures accordingly. In stage two, all children will still be cared for at the same time and in normal operation. Children with mild symptoms of illness such as a cold without fever or occasional coughing are allowed to visit the International Kids Campus.

Children are not allowed to visit the International Kids Campus if they:

• have symptoms of an acute, transmittable disease
• have fever, diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, a sore throat, earache or a severe cough
• have had contact with an infected person in the last 14 days
• or are subject to any other quarantine measure.

The Bavarian State Office for Food Safety and Health, in cooperation with doctors and the Ministry of Health and Family Affairs, has prepared an information sheet and FAQs for parents and sent them to us last Friday. These two documents have been attached to our letter. We ask you to read the information carefully and, when you bring your child to the International Kids Campus, to confirm by signature that you have received the documents.

The corona pandemic will doubtlessly keep us busy for a while longer. We would like to assure you that we are doing everything necessary with great care to minimize the risk of infection. At the same time, it was and is our claim to offer the children entrusted to us as much normality as possible, even in these special times, so that they can experience a carefree time at the International Kids Campus.
